  34. Well... In a given resolution AGA is using a smaller amount of the
  35. bitplane-DMA bandwidth than ECS/OCS - and hence the blitting operations will
  36. be faster.
  37. But the blitter itself has the same speed.

  39. If you don't use more than half of the bandwidth then the blitter will not be
  40. slowed down at all.
  41. Half bandwidth is:
  42. AGA: SHires,4planes  or  Hires,8Planes
  43. ECS/OCS: Shires,1plane  or  Hires,2planes  or  Lores,4planes
